Celtic Lion II: 2002, pencil. Noble Beast of Kings? or lazy kill-thief? Whatever the stereotype, lions will always be special, powerful animals to me. Done as another "test" where I planned to re-do my Celtic Lion I (sort of) ten years later. (I have lots of tests, yeah, but they keep me drawing, so..) The knotwork is based on Dover Celtic ClipArt, but I did the lion from my head, as a labor of love. I may paint it eventually. Celtic Lion I at solfire.com/yna/showimage.php?ident=Synnabar&name=synCelticLionI.jpg for reference.

This is a cover for a friend at work daughter's water polo team program book. They are the Griffins. I had typed a longer desc, but it got erased and I am mad now. Questions about the pic or the weird colors and gear? email me.

Because every cricket needs breasts. You look good in pink, Gryllus. :D
