Pacandrat pacandrat.jpg   Jenn Rodriguez (PacRat)   02/27/2003   450x640

Well, damn. I mean, rats.

Ntbboto ntbboto.jpg   Nicole Trujillo (Kompy, Tanuki)   02/27/2003   262x673

Marker-colored pic of Justino Boto, an Amazon River Dolphin morph from yet another IRC game I frecuent. Slight PS tweak to turn the grey skin to that of a 'pink' dolphin. Yes, I realize I suck at beefcake. Re-upload because the nipple ring didn't scan right, and the character looks androgyneous enough without people thinking its a female nude (for the record, its a he) :P

Ntbwricochet ntbwricochet.jpg   Nicole Trujillo (Kompy, Tanuki)   02/27/2003   600x587

Once upon a time, Ricochet was SUPPOSED to have been a honest-to-god 'creepy' gryphonic creature that was half raven/ half rat. And somewhere around the way ge got a dog collar, fruity bat wings and became...Ricochet. Here's a pic showing me submitting to yet another dumb fa--erm, I mean me trying to see what would Rico be like if he were to look like he was supposed to!

Divine_akurei divine_akurei.jpg   Stina Lövkvist (Spocha)   02/27/2003   400x717

My version of Jaycee Kerr's character Akurei. Art trade made. There's something I really like about this one. I guess it's the clear colours. Normally I use to mix around with my watercolours to give a more realistic effect. But here I made use to the basic colours instead.

Aero aero.jpg   Cindy Ramey (Aerokat)   02/27/2003   700x697

This is for my Dad, for teaching me all I know about cars. Thanks Dad. :)

Forceskeek forceskeek.jpg   Amy Pronovost (Amara)   02/27/2003   450x402

Draw Lyosha! All the cool kids do it! Watch out for Lyosha in Episode 3: Force Skeek. :D Pencil and burnishing tool. Mmm. Burnish.

Syn-ycaerrickhd syn-ycaerrickhd.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   02/27/2003   648x494

The Giant Floating Head of Caerrick! Drawn last year for the ultra-cool Skorzy's birthday; the neck-feathers look vaguely scale-like (note: my own interpretation). I tried for a more horse-like head than in my earlier painting of him, but kept it looking predatory. Pencil on cardstock, Photoshop coloring.

Syn-yebkitty syn-yebkitty.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   02/27/2003   542x612

Ebony... Tigress? The Kitty Queen! Ebony had talked about drawing domestic cats, so I drew her as a tiger-tabby, for fun. I wanted her to look a bit like the smiling, stylized cats you'd see on postcards, etc. years ago. Pencil on cardstock, Photoshop coloring.

Syn-yshockwave syn-yshockwave.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   02/27/2003   389x576

Shockwave! A portrait to be re-sized and used for message boards and personal icons; he supplied the background. In return, he surprised me with an incredible story that I've posted to my LiveJournal (till I can update my webpage and post it there properly). Thank you so much, Shocky! Pencil on cardstock, Photoshop coloring, photo image background.

Syn-ysweater syn-ysweater.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   02/27/2003   343x432

Yes, I'm cold; why do you ask? (I've taken to wearing huge lumpy sweaters to keep warm at work). Pencil on paper. BTW: Welcome to all you new artists! *gets socks knocked off*

Syn-yxianjaguar syn-yxianjaguar.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   02/27/2003   454x612

Xian Jaguar! Drawn for her birthday last year; I love her work! I went for a more "furry" anthro look - i.e. more human proportions, larger eyes, human-like hair, etc. Pencil on cardstock, Photoshop coloring.

Depdragon depdragon.jpg   Sarah Wiedemann (Kestrel)   02/27/2003   507x688

Felorin's dragon, done for www.Furcadia.com's front page, also supposedly being published in the next issue of MOG (massive online gamer's) magazine [www.mogonline.com], and perhaps in the start screen of the Furcadia client's Beta release..? "startupdragon" original design for the head is © 'Manda.

Dragoncrowfinalsm dragoncrowfinalsm.jpg   Sarah Wiedemann (Kestrel)   02/27/2003   700x435

This is pretty much my website 'mascot'. Smash the best of both worlds together (dragons and crows), and get.. uh. "corvus draconis"? ;)

Lakotasnow lakotasnow.jpg   Sarah Wiedemann (Kestrel)   02/27/2003   700x541

I haven't worked with real media in so long. I've been a little short on cash, so I decided to put up an auction. This is the winning bidder's character, Lakota- A black and yellow wolf with unusual marking placement. (acrylics on bristol.)

Treedragonfsm treedragonfsm.jpg   Sarah Wiedemann (Kestrel)   02/27/2003   700x685

A little emerald dragon, working its way toward its feast on a tree.

Werekat werekat.jpg   Kayleen Connell (Katarina)   02/27/2003   700x467

In response to the "draw an overdone cliche" challenge in the Art Challenge LiveJournal community, I drew Kat as a stereotypical were. Drawn in Photoshop with my tablet. I R teh kewl now ;) Artwork © 2003 Kayleen Connell
