Synbtaar synbtaar.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   06/25/2001   501x345

Arak as a Tarbosaurus Bataar: 1992, gouache on black illustration board. Dinosaurs are yet ANOTHER life-long passion of mine; I reconstructed him from skulls I'd seen. Since 1992, though, there have been new discoveries about dinosaurs, so he's probably not completely accurate any more.

Synchtah synchtah.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   06/25/2001   413x504

Here's a dye-sub printout from a scan of a gouche painting from 1995 of a cheetah I did in college *whew!* It served the dual purpose of being a stamp pic for an assignment, and being the portrait of an online friend. Heh - 32 cents for a stamp! Dig the yellow-green sun....

Syndndog syndndog.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   06/25/2001   433x518

A Demon-dog from 1997; he sorta fit my mood the weekend I posted this. Sometimes stuff happens, and there's nothing you can do but be grateful for what (and who) you have.

Synsensk synsensk.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   06/25/2001   376x648

While I'm trying to finish things, here's some posts in response to requests to see some of my old and/or "real media" stuff. Yes, point and laugh! This was from '92, when I tried (and had time) to experiment with underwater lighting - it's a sentient shark, from a species I made up. It's gouache. Whoooopeee!

Syntat2 syntat2.jpg   S. M. Bittler (Synnabar)   06/25/2001   225x712

An older pic of Synnabar from, oh, 1997. This was going to be a tattoo, but I had my Avatar done instead. She's got "lucky 21" segments on her horns 'stead of the usual 11. Love those red RSVP pens!

You have no chance to survive make your time.
