Here are a pair of Lupine legionaries in Imperial service. Not nobility, they are accorded respect as members of the Emperor's forces. Not matching the physical strength of humans, they are used more as breakthrough troops, and Behind the Lines raiders. Lightly equipped for maneuverability, they none the less are armored and protected with some quality gear. This is a portion of a larger picture that has humans in it.
