A pic for Accipiter. (Samuel J...His art is here on Yerf.) I tried to get some fur detailing in there, and a bit of failed lighting (It could have had more contrast). I like it overall though. <is happy> |

A cute winged blue fox. My weird art muse was in overdrive on this one, I think. Either that, or it was on drugs. (FurBid: http://www.furbid.ws/cgi-bin/auction.pl?print_genfur&1053743421 ) |

He's the reigning champ surfer, "The Big Kahuna," on the Islands, but here in So. California, it's a glassy sort of day on the water. So much for catching tbe perfect wave. The Big Kahuna is forced to wait it out in the sun, drinking a smoothie and watching the beach goers. He'll be making an appearance at Further Confusion this week (along with a bunch of his beach-lovin' friends) until the waves start showing some action. See you all there! |

After a bit of peer pressure from Megan and Skorzy (C'mon! everyone is doing it!) I began to take a bit of an interest in bird watching. I even went so far as to purchase a book of North American birds. I think that's when I began to see that birds have WEIRD names. And in a fit of immaturity, my husband and I began to make up weird bird names of our own and created a game out of it. I created this pic as a graphic for my website. Go Check it out on my site! (www.furnation.com/XianJaguar) You'll find a link to the game on my home page (along with a link to current auctions). |

This was a 14" x 17" acrylic and marker painting I did that sold at CF12. It's my husband's charachter out hunting. It's the first painterly sort of thing I did for quite some time. I am not sure if I like acrylics yet. |

Yay, another commission done! This is Brian O Connell's character, commissioned by his S.O. for his birthday. I found out Glenfiddich 50 year old scotch is $8075 a bottle, when I researched the company for reference. The bottle shown is the 30 yr batch. Also, a try into relatively new territory for me: mirrors and reflections. I like. |

BUNNY BUNNY BUNNY! Something to fuzzle. Did this at work. Goauche and marker. It'll be turned into a notepad, eventually. I tried to go "dark Natasha" with the fur detailing. Nowhere even NEAR as good, but hey, it still works. Cute lil Bunny © TCM, art by XianJaguar. Barb supplied the idea and composition. Yaay Barb! =) |

Well, I thought the previous little sitting jaguar pic I drew was so cute, I re-did it, and added Kiyo and Eriden as well. These were made into birthday cake toppers...I cut them out and laminated them, and stuck them on toothpicks in the cake...the effect was adorable. |

A commission for a friend (Catman). Markers and colored pencil on 11" x 14" bristol board. I like the overall "golden" feeling of the colors. First time I ever tried using light peach in the sky. (Westwolf, I *am* working on your pic, honest!) I wish I wasn't so slow at getting art out... I need to accomplish more. (Meg, so much for a short desc.) |

A long overdue pic for Chris Sawyer. He and Jack have been so SWEET to Meg and I. So I drew a pic of Chris and me...yes, this is innocent! I'd always gripe about not getting to go horseback riding ever, so one day Chris gave me a horsie-back ride (or is that unicorn back?). I think Meg and Jack thought it was pretty funny. I even managed to fall off. Pretty sad! This is marker and colored pencil. |

A piccie for CrssaFox! You can tell it's Crssa...she's listening to Earthsuit. =) I had fun drawing this...I used a full-length mirror to pose, and I sketched fast, trying to capture motion, since my pics have been pretty stiff in the past. I think this is a welcome change. |

Just a work in progress. It started out as a wolf study, (still trying to get a good wolf down for a commissioner) but then turned into...this. Dragonwolves turn out to be magically (and not so innocently) created. Evil little buggers. Anyway, I doubt I'll finish this any time soon. Back to drawing/studying wolves (and pumas) for the commission. |

Gah! This took FOREVER! It's a commission for Eriden Grayfox. Markers and colored pencils. I looked everywhere on the web for Crusader outfits, and couldn't find any decent pics. So I had to make up the costumes out of my head. However, I am indebted to the archives of Tracy Butler for seeing how a cloak and brooch fold work. This is Eriden Grayfox (a paladin) and Silvertail (a magician) searching an ancient castle for...well, I guess when find out when Eriden's player finishes writing the story. "First Flight": My "large" piece for Further Confusion (14" x 17"). Watercolor, markers, and colored pencils. Inspired by all the great realistic art that's been popping up in fandom lately. Kudos and thanks go to Thornwolf who provided a great idea and rough comp for the background! =) The chest on this guy is edited to be yerf-friendly, he has correct anatomy in the actual RL version. |

This was, without a doubt, the weirdest commission I've ever gotten. Ph33r the Flahippo, or Flippo, if you will: Part Flamingo, Part Hippo. The product of the runaway imagination of two 9 year old girls, and a few hours of my time getting it all down on paper. Scary. |

I was going for an "jeans ad" look. You know, the sort of clothing ad where everyone is standing around in some weird pose and they don't say much about the jeans, but you're just supposed to sort of guess what the commercial is about. Appearing at the ConFurence art show. (Oh, it's a red fox, a swift-fennec mix, and a grey fox. Done in markers, gouache and colored pencils. And it only has a few quasi-native trinkets.) |

This is my end of a pic trade with GrayWolf (Illahie)! She's an awesome Were artist, but I don't think she's on any furry archives yet. I tried to make the character a more or less classic were with long arms, big hands and paws, and a slightly digitigrade stance. Sort of a new venture for me, but very fun. I see why the weres draw what they do. |
