Well! What can I say. Ferris had an IM conversation with Azy this morning, but I had to cut him off because someone else needed the computer. These are the main characters of DEEP WOOD, a series of books written in the '40's and '50's by Elleston Trevor, now apparently only available from Books on Tape. These folks enjoy pipe smoking, feasting and cozy domesticity, and might have been an influence on Mr. Jacques himself.
