Updated dragon-morph. Derecho [de-RAY-sho] is a meteorologist's term for a severe thunderstorm with exceptionally strong straight-line winds, but no tornadoes. The word "derecho" means "straight ahead" in Spanish. Derecho is copyright (C)1998 by Peter Ruesch. 11x14 graphite.

Here's a quick sketch of my new 3rd Edition D&D character, Felysial. You won't find furry write-ups in the new system yet, so I made up my own. Racial Traits: Dex +2, Wis -1, Listen +2, Spot +2, bite 1d3, claw 1d4, Feline Independence: +2 vs control spells. (Just try and get a cat to do what you want! : ) Yes, I am a great screaming nerd. Now you know my dirty little secret.

Here is Felysial with a background (finally). Some interesting factoids: The stones are supposed to be very ancient ruins that are mostly buried and have been softened by several millennia of windswept fields. To the viewer' right, left of Felysial, a stone is inscribed with the ancient runes of Nug-Soth, a language associated with H.P. Lovecraft's Mythos. It spells out the name of yours truly. Finally, the magic runes on her bow say 'Felysial'. The little guy on her shoulder is her familiar, Ici. : )

Here's my very first all digitaly colored furry piece. She's a character of mine in D&D 3E named Felysial. This piece needs a background, though. I'm open to suggestions...

This is my take on a certain Egyptian myth. Sekhmet was sent down to punish mankind for thier sins. Well, she enjoyed her task a little too much and nearly destroyed all of mankind. Ra decided to put an end to her rampage by turning the blood she had spilled into wine. When she went to consume what she thought was blood, she got drunk and fell asleep. Thus averting catastrophe. My thought was, what if she decided to finish what she started. Thus, "The Second Coming". (It also provides the chance to piss off the religious right. Didn't Mapplethorpe get his millions this way? ; )
